This year is all about shopping small but getting the best of the best. I also thought it fitting to supply you with our family wassail recipe. Sip and shop, nothing better!
1 gallon apple cider
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 whole cinnamon sticks
12-15 whole cloves
Bring all ingredients to a boil, steam for an hour or two. It is best if made the day before, letting it sit in the refrigerator overnight. Heat before serving and add 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate. Steam until ready to serve, about 30 minutes.
(This time around, I added 3 slices of fresh oranges to my halved recipe in replacement of the OJ concentrate. For a full recipe try 6.)

Wassail is the best! Our town does a yearly event called Wassailfest where all the local businesses make that lovely drink for all to enjoy. They shut down the little downtown area roads so everyone can walk to each business, socialize, and vote for their favorite. Thanks for sharing your family recipe and your gift picks <3
