Good Days Ahead

Headed Somewhere Blog

Ezra has been all out of sorts lately and I feel like I am losing my sanity. He is doing some major teething, poor thing has had it rough for about a week. We have been spending a lot of time outside, it seems that is the only thing that brings him comfort these days. For me, every day seems to be the same and drags on forever. I know it won’t last, things will get better. I have to keep reminding myself how he usually is: a sweet, cuddly, loving little boy. There are more good days than bad and as my Dad always says, “this too shall pass.” Great days ahead. I can feel it. Send happy thoughts and good vibes our way!

Oh darlin… Being a new mama is seriously hard. We have all been there…promise! Just keep taking it one slow day at a time! As you said, it WILL get better. But also…if you can….try and schedule in a bit of “me time”. Maybe you already do this. But spending 20 dollars for a babysitter to come over for 2 hours….is money well spent. Sometimes just that little time a way is all I need to feel rejuvenated. I’m sure you already know all this….just want to say…keep it up! You’re doing great! xoxo

No… I NEVER do this. I totally agree and think just a few hours a week would do me a world of good. Thanks so much for the positive note! 🙂 You are awesome.

Little tip for teethers – when it gets really bad just run them a bath regardless of whether they need one or not. It really calms them down 🙂
Love the photos, thanks for sharing!
