. tis the tablescaping season .

Tis the season to get creative! Beautiful dinners and even more beautiful table settings are just around the corner! It is something I always look forward to; traveling during the holidays to a beautifully decorated home transformed into a holiday wonderland and a table that is set days in advance to a T, all the bells and whistles included. Not one corner or crevice of the house is missed. Mom, I can’t wait to see what you have done this year! (No pressure. :))

This year I am going to give it my best effort to create the same transformation. It started on Saturday when I started burning my holiday candle and I picked up a golden glittery reindeer at TJ Maxx. That’s about it. I have a long way to go to meet the standard of Mother. 🙂

Here are some amazing holiday tablescapes to inspire! Happy Thanksgiving Planning!

I always do the same thing: Set out the Christmas china. I suppose I could get a little more creative this year since I just read this, and YOU are coming. Hum… maybe I’ll cut a little sprig of something in the yard and set it on a napkin like the picture. I love the beautiful ideas.

Ahhh, this is such an art . . one I haven’t mastered yet. And I always struggle with it, because well, once you really get down to it, if you’re doing a family style meal, where does the food go?? I’d like to wrap my brain around this.
