Pura Vida is a saying people use in Costa Rica that really depicts how they live. They use it as a hello, goodbye, or a salutation. It’s EVERYWHERE! The “pure life” mentality starts becoming a part of you even just being there a week! Everything is still so natural, so beautiful and untouched. I am going to try and keep this “pure life” mentality with me for as long as possible; I may need to go back in the near future just to refresh my memory. 🙂

Highlights:

Catching lots of waves on the surfboard!

Finishing “Little Bee” (highly recommended!!)

Card tournaments at night and losing to Tatum almost every time.

Paddle Boarding in the most beautiful bay

Monkeys waving at me from the trees (I swear they were!)

Watching the sunset while eating fresh mangoes

Almost getting sucked out to sea, attempting to swim in waves that were wayyyy too big. This probably wasn’t a “highlight”, but definitely notable. haha (Mom, I hope I didn’t just give you a heart attack.) In my defense, they came out of nowhere! Swear!

Skinny dipping in our own secret waterfall. 😉 (Not pictured.)

Spending time with friends listening to music and relaxing. Love you all! 🙂
